I just ditch the proxy, when the Winged Hussar reaches for the lightsaber, and it comes to him, not the Force; miracle. Not Yoda; Deus Vult.

In the distant future, God is back, with a vengeance.

I can take the Jesus stick to all sorts of sci-fi iconography, like the Monolith in 2001, they find the Monoliths, and that is the talisman which puts them in contact with the alien god, but that sort of thing doesn't have to be an alien god, God is mysterious enough as it is, no need to turn him into an alien.

It's not even against catechism to acknowledge that God may have created other beings on other worlds.

In fact, if we ever do meet another sentient being, they are very likely to acknowledge God and even our particular messiah, Jesus Christ. Likely they would have their own.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

No. Global Warming Climate Change™️ is backed by totally legitimate science.

In 2001, they have to go out into space to find the Godhead, but they fudge it, it's not God, it's God as an alien, but what if, as you went further out, you did find evidence of the Godhead, and it wasn't an alien, it was just God.

God made the earth, OK, but he didn't just make the earth, maybe he left other things for you to find, when you reached those places where he left them, knowing that you would get there eventually, and when you get there, and find them, it's one with the force and the force is with me, no Yoda required.

God made the entire universe if you even believe that. Earth had to be a footnote in the annals by that logic. God is everywhere that the divine architecture is present and it's our job as sentient beings to figure out what it means. Pro tip: we can't. That's where faith in a power higher than butt hole worship comes in. That's where Jesus comes in spitting truths. Every other prophet ad naseum.

Meh, don't over think it, in the Bible, God is not actually that meta, he making things happen, he's pulling miraculous moves all the time, in actual fact, the Bible is an action movie, the Bible doesn't sit around contemplating the nature of the universe, the Bible kicks some ass.

I don't put a lot of faith in the tales of Hebrews.

(God made sure to smite the Pharo that day LOL)

We have plenty of other faiths on record. I think the one common theme being that we aren't the penultimate being in the universe.

It's just a movie idea, brah, it's not the seminary, it's a kick ass epic romantic space opera action flick, I just remove the liberal friendly proxies, and let the Godhead be God, and let the miracles be miracles.

Cecil B. Demille meets George Lucas, Ben-Hur in space.
