Re: Alternative Facts
Press briefing is going on and the Press Sec is taking it to the press over integrity and facts, and citing the irresponsibility of reporting things like the MLK bust lie, which is a racially charged lie.

I don't know, Kath still seems to want to cling to metro sales and hotel occupancy as the end all be all. As long she keeps peddling that nonsense in this thread as if anyone buys that Trump's inauguration was bigger than Obama's, the discussion will continue.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Great. So we're done with this crap?

It's distracting from the real problem, as I attempted to point out 3 pages ago. Our new president is still behaving like an unstable narcissist.StCapps wrote:I don't know, Kath still seems to want to cling to metro sales and hotel occupancy as the end all be all. How so? I see the narcissist part, but not the unstable bit.GrumpyCatFace wrote:It's distracting from the real problem, as I attempted to point out 3 pages ago. Our new president is still behaving like an unstable narcissist.

Serious, or trolling? I know you haven't just skipped over the last 20 pages to get here...StCapps wrote:How so?GrumpyCatFace wrote:It's distracting from the real problem, as I attempted to point out 3 pages ago. Our new president is still behaving like an unstable narcissist.

Also name a POTUS who wasn't a narcissist. I can't think of one.

Re: Alternative Facts
I think we are getting to one of the major problems we have in this country. 2 parties act like idiots and drag us into their stupid fight. This shit happens all the time. I often cite Trayvon Martin and Zimmerman as a prime example. Both those guys were idiots.GrumpyCatFace wrote: It's distracting from the real problem, as I attempted to point out 3 pages ago. Now in this example we have two parties, the Trump administration and the corporate media. The press irresponsibly reports unsubstantiated information and the administration reacts in an unprofessional manner. 20 pages later Hashworks is arguing about pictures and pixels.

To me, they're the same thing. Maybe you're working from a different definition. No normal person gets into the highest office in the world, and still feels the need to justify how great they are. Constantly. To every insult.StCapps wrote:Serious. I see the narcissism, I don't see unstable.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Serious, or trolling? They do if that's a big part of what got them into office in the first place. Trump's a counter-puncher, he's not going to stop counter-punching just because it rubs you the wrong way. It's like Trump got into office driving an F-1 and you want him to switch to NASCAR now that he's POTUS and expect him to go along with that. Fat chance.GrumpyCatFace wrote:No normal person gets into the highest office in the world, and still feels the need to justify how great they are. Constantly. To every insult.
Trump Haters: Yo Trump now that you are POTUS we really wish you would stop using the brilliant political tactics and strategies that helped get you the top job. Take away all your best tools, we don't like how you use them so effectively.
DJT: I'll get right on that yo, shutting down the twitter as we speak.....

...still going with the 'secret genius' defense, despite all evidence to the contrary? That's not a long-term strategy, but ok - go for it.StCapps wrote:Name a president who wasn't a narcissist. I recall quite clearly that our "4d chess player" would surely pivot to a Presidential Stance upon becoming the nominee. And then he'd do it upon winning the election. And then it would be after the inauguration.
He's clearly appealing to his base, but he should be above that, as a president. There's a whole fucking lot more to this country than Trump's base.
