I think we are getting to one of the major problems we have in this country. 2 parties act like idiots and drag us into their stupid fight. This shit happens all the time. I often cite Trayvon Martin and Zimmerman as a prime example. Both those guys were idiots.

Now in this example we have two parties, the Trump administration and the corporate media. The press irresponsibly reports unsubstantiated information and the administration reacts in an unprofessional manner. 20 pages later Hashworks is arguing about pictures and pixels.

They do if that's a big part of what got them into office in the first place. Trump's a counter-puncher, he's not going to stop counter-punching just because it rubs you the wrong way. It's like Trump got into office driving an F-1 and you want him to switch to NASCAR now that he's POTUS and expect him to go along with that. Fat chance.

...still going with the 'secret genius' defense, despite all evidence to the contrary? That's not a long-term strategy, but ok - go for it.

I recall quite clearly that our "4d chess player" would surely pivot to a Presidential Stance upon becoming the nominee. And then he'd do it upon winning the election. And then it would be after the inauguration.

He's clearly appealing to his base, but he should be above that, as a president. There's a whole fucking lot more to this country than Trump's base.
