FBI Used Debunked “Russian Dossier” as their Reason to SPY on Team Trump
Comey based his entire investigation on the discredited dirty Dossier prepared by a former MI-6 agent.
From CNN

The FBI last year used a dossier of allegations of Russian ties to Donald Trump’s campaign as part of the justification to win approval to secretly monitor a Trump associate, according to US officials briefed on the investigation.

Dossier - FBI - Director - James - Comey
The dossier has also been cited by FBI Director James Comey in some of his briefings to members of Congress in recent weeks, as one of the sources of information the bureau has used to bolster its investigation, according to US officials briefed on the probe.
- Which included at least one approved FISA Court request to Spy on the Trump Team.

Previously it has been reported that the Dossier was handed over to Comey(by John McCain) in December of 2016, but it appears he got the documents perhaps as early as December of 2015 as the investigation into Trump was reportedly underway in January of 2016.

The Dossier is crap, it has been repeatedly discredited and included farces such as the Golden Showers claim. But who put together the Dossier, and who paid to have it put together ? The Daily Mail asked that question in January of 2017.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... Trump.html

They discovered British Ex-Spy Christopher Steele was first hired by Jeb Bush and other GOP establishment to get Trump out of the Primaries. Then later, he was hired again by Hillary Clinton for the same purpose. Finally, the document fell to John McCain who attempted to use it to destroy Trump.

It's all pretty laughable once the entire chain of events is presented. What's not laughable is that an entire spying operation was commissioned off of a poorly put together political witch hunt. Further, that our FBI Director would move forward on such flimsy evidence and that a FISA Court would agree.

There's no such thing as an "Ex-British Spy", once your vetted into MI6, you're MI6 for life, "hired him" is just plausible deniability for the British government, if they got the dossier cooked up by "Ex-MI6", that's the same thing as getting it cooked up by MI6, there is no "Ex", that "private security firm" would just be a front for Vauxall Cross without the British ever having to avow it, thus, they didn't really "hire" anybody, they just went to the British to provide the dossier, so it wouldn't be connected to CIA, they wanted to offshore the source, and dress it up with the "MI6" brand, to make it seem more credible, and to deflect from it being an all inside the Beltway job.

They're not going to say that the source is the CIA, that's hitting too close to home, and the CIA can't be seen to be trying to smear their own CinC, so they say "It's not us, it's the British, MI6 is saying this", because then it's an ostensible "disinterested third party", and they well know that "British Intelligence" carries a certain cachet in America, so they wanted the "MI6" branding on it; "007 says Donald Trump is a Russian Agent".

You think the FISA judge is any less susceptible to the "007" branding? Don't bet on it, judges ain't that different from anybody else.

That's the whole point, that's the seed they were planting, this is not just a partisan smear job coming from a bunch of hacks inside the Beltway, "we're getting this straight from James Bond & Co!"

And it's circular, because first they brand it as "MI6", then the CIA can come out and say "it's not us saying this, but, we can confirm that the person who is saying this, is the real deal, 007" which is what they did.

First you get "British Intelligence" to do the dirty work, then all you have to do is come out and vet the source as being legit; "British Intelligence", and then the shit just sells itself, you don't have to vet the dossier itself, you can remain detached from the contents of the dossier, just vet the source, and then let the contents of the dossier do the damage without having to own it.

If the US would not have any stake in this, your logic would be correct.

But hell, it's goddam having troops fighting there, has been bombing there too. So yeah, the US is "a bit" involved here.

Hence your argument isn't at all valid. It's really a big middle finger waived by all other participants in the face of uncle Sam, if you don't get it.

It should be time for the US to act as a leader, because I bet it doesn't want Russia to take the leadership role in the Middle East.
What would happen if Russia would take the lead? How would Kansas and NY be different?

Amazing how Russia literally committed an act of war against our nation and somehow we are not getting daily updates from the front.

What's amazing is that CNN never mentions that the "dossier" came from a private British citizen paid by the Clinton campaign.

Obviously the guy has every incentive to provide dirt on Trump no matter how based in fact it is.

So Clinton campaign paid Brit to get dirt on Trump. Gave purchased dirt to McCain. McCain gave to FBI who used it to justify massive intelligence gathering operation on Trump campaign.

Seems legit. :liar:

The Impeach Trump band ain't gonna quit playin', guys. Democrats because they're Democrats, and Republicans because they'd rather have Pence any day, preferably today. The only thing stopping the landslide is Trumpers who know he's being set up, but Trump is losing his support among them by being all the idiotic things the enemies say he is.

He's already lost them. I don't think he can truly recover from this. He's obviously trying by suddenly going back to hitting at the H1B program and stuff, but nobody can trust he won't turn neocon, and he still has all those globalists in his cabinet now purging out the nationalists.

I think he is used to business and the old political paradigm where you can fuck people over and then make nice later on like it never happened. His base were largely people who never vote because they see the system for what it is. They are not going to come out again to vote for this shit.

In some ways, he's already a bigger failure than his predecessors by simply burning to the ground one of the greatest opportunities to reform the American government in a century. It's really quite unbelievable that he did that. Even if all he wanted was to boost his ego and reputation, THAT would have put his face on monuments. Now he's just another asshole who was president.

Him burning out faster that Hillary would because the press hates him might be a gain.
