China immediately makes it clear that they're totally not defending NK, by staging their own wargames.

US drills in the region have stopped, though it’s unclear whether the US will abide by South Korea’s request. However, the brief lull in the area was interrupted Thursday when local media reported that China has decided to hold military drills of its own.

According to the South China Morning Post, China is now conducting a live-fire exercise off the North Korean peninsula, and is expected to last for four days. In addition to citing security concerns, Beijing also criticized the US for pushing the region toward nuclear war.
I'm sure it's all just a massive coincidence. I mean, china is completely helpless in all of this.
Fuck the PRC.

They're hoping to make the US think they'll go to the wall for DPRK - they won't.....they know they can't win if WWIII were tomorrow...

look tough PRC....while you can.....

It's one destroyer, one frigate, a submarine rescue vessel, and a supply ship.

That's not even saber rattling.

Stop getting your news from zerohedge, fuckwits.

Trump's top national security adviser just said the US is ready to take North Korea's nukes by force
H.R. McMaster, President Donald Trump's national security advisor, just took an incredibly bold stance on North Korea that points to the worst possible outcome — all out war.

Asked by BBC on Tuesday if the US was committed to a peaceful resolution to the North Korean crisis, McMaster abandoned the usual formality of political speech.

"We're not committed to a peaceful resolution," McMaster said. "We're committed to a resolution."

Maybe the Pentagon wonks have calculated that DPRK ICBMs are too much of risk in the long term and that it's less costly to have war now than in 10 yrs....

Right on!

Fuck up Kim Jong Un and his theocratic gulag state before they have the ability to threaten all life outside of the DPRK the way they threaten and waste the lives of their own citizens.

Part of me thinks this is the best path - most of me wants to avoid war with DPRK....another part of me doesn't want to be 1930's European Pussies....looks what that got'em....
