Even if Trump his brought down by his "scandals" somehow, we get President Pence, win-win, Trump has even provided for his own undoing suitably enough for me, thanks again, Donald Trump.

A dyed in the wool Right Wing Nutjob if there ever was one, if I was the liberals, I would be doing everything I could to keep Donald Trump around.

Trump himself is much funnier than Alec Baldwin doing Trump, at first I had high hopes because Baldwin usually cracks me up, but his Trump is pretty lame actually; Sad!
Baldwin is trying too hard, and it's too overtly mean spirited and cheap, the best SNL Presidential send up was Dana Carvey's;
"Mr. Rogers + John Wayne = George Herbert Walker Bush"

They do have the next four years to hone everything down. Overall, I like Baldwin as Trump and I also like the way Kate McKinnon plays Kellyanne Conway (also Kate McKinnon played Hillary Clinton as well). Also, the Putin portrayal is amazingly funny and I love it all.Smitty-48 wrote:Trump himself is much funnier than Alec Baldwin doing Trump, at first I had high hopes because Baldwin usually cracks me up, but his Trump is pretty lame actually; Sad!

Based on the complete meltdown on the part of his opponents, I'm thinking they're going to have eight years to hone it down, the more the haters hate on him, the more powerful Trump becomes.

Honestly I try and watch YouTube vids of these SNL guys sometimes to try and get a laugh but all it does is make my blood pressure rise. It's not even funny imo. I'm sure it's funny for other people but it's not the kind of humour I find funny. And that's leaving aside the obvious emotional investment I have in Trump after pulling for him as an underdog in a contentious election. Remove the hatred I have for these people and I'm left with unfunny jokes.

I think they are hilarious and spot on. I mean even if you don't believe in the fact that several US intelligence agency claim Russia hacked those emails and gave them to Wikileaks so Trump can win, it's still funny because it's so over the top but also spot on. In my opinion, they got Trump's mannerisms down but Baldwin needs to work on his voice, IMO.

I'd rather just laugh at Trump's mannerisms in real time than have a shit lib Hollywood actor portray them.
