The ridicule came when I mentioned using the *pump* sound to scare off an intruder. I decided ‘silent but deadly’ was better, on that basis. Too many scenarios to contemplate, really, and my wooden floors are noisy as fuck. Anyone would hear me coming before I saw them anyway. Better to have something simple and very quickly maneuvered.

AR is a girl gun. It's a glorified .22SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 4:00 pmBeing an inexperienced shooter, those things do NOT look simple lol. Plus I would be facing a wall of pushback at home, if I showed up with a monster like that. This was pushed through in the momentum of growing uncertainty ( in her). Timed carefully, well planned and executed.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 3:58 pmThat is what the AR15 is forSuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 3:56 pm

Serious legal consequences even racking a slide behind a door. Assume the guy you are about to shoot has the best Jew lawyer on the planet.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 4:06 pmExplain?TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 4:05 pmNever brandish a weapon boiyoSuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 3:56 pmWelp, reading it again, everybody was in favor of the pump.

Basically first rule of gun ownership. Never point a gun at someone unless you intend to shoot him. Second rule. Never point a barrel of a gun in someone's direction no matter how empty you think it is. Third rule, always assume it's loaded. Fourth rule, check to make sure it's unloaded both visually and physically every single time. 5th rule, treat it like a live rattlesnake that will take your head off at any time. 6th rule, shoot straight.

These things I know, except racking the slide... how else are you supposed to load the weapon?TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 4:09 pmSerious legal consequences even racking a slide behind a door. Assume the guy you are about to shoot has the best Jew lawyer on the planet.

Like for example you have a pistol that's probably like a Glock or whatever so before you secure it for cleaning or storage drop the mag, rack the slide two times, hold it open to look through the breach and see daylight then stick your finger in there through the top to make sure it's empty. This should all be on your cleaning instruction manual. But trust and believe accidental firings happen all the time.

Well what I'm saying is don't rack the slide to scare someone off like you see in the movies. You can catch a case for that or at least a police visit. If you are carrying it on you and have a holster you are comfortable with you can keep one in the chamber.

Like it's literally better to just shoot someone then flash one around
