This is the second guy I've seen pictures of who stood up and appeared to attempt to draw fire....... crazy.

Video at the link, this is during the shooting.

Other anomalies I noticed. There doesn't seem to be any fatties in that crowd. While watching the immediate on the street interviews with people leaving, most of the men had no shirts on as they used them for bandages. It seems if these young mostly millennial fans did everything they could to help LEOs, first responders and wounded. I don't remember this from other Active shooter situations. Am I just forgetting ?

According to law enforcement statements this guy had a fandango gift card that had been used more than once in the last several months. Its highly likely that he watched numerous movies that featured violence and premarital sex. Im not sure why the media isn't covering this!

Vegas Hotels and Casinos have more security than any other in the US. How did this guy get 10 guns and ammo, into a room ?
Yeah, it's probably doable in big duffles or something. But wouldn't it be odd for someone making multiple trips ?
There isn't a metal detector at the front, there is one if you want to go out onto the floor, or used to be...
I'm not very familiar with Sin City. I trust nick when he says this is not something there security looks for. I just thought maybe someone would notice the guy making multiple trips with large bags. But after I thought about it, wouldn't be hard. Just pull up in an SUV, have many large bags like its a family and put it on one of those carts.

They don't mess with you in Nevada hotels at all. I have stayed at hotels just over the border from Idaho, and they are about as libertarian as you can get. Ranchers go there to play poker and they are all armed. I don't remember them checking for firearms even on the floor, though that could very well have changed since the 1990s. Nevadans tend to like their guns.

Vegas is not really predominantly native Nevadans either, so maybe its more like the rest of the country there. I might be wrong about the cities.

You should totally go. Hotel rooms are at an all-time low this week.

Looks like he booked his rooms using kayak. Its possible he underwent some sort of self radicalization process after seeing their insanely low rates. We'll know more once we get the full FBI report.

Reaching for the heights of ugly partisan thinking...

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/20 ... icans.html
CBS has parted ways with one of the company’s top lawyers after she said she is “not even sympathetic” to victims of the Las Vegas shooting because “country music fans often are Republican,” when discussing the tragic mass shooting that occurred in Las Vegas late Sunday night.
Seriously, how brainwashed to you have to be to say "good, those people who don't agree with my views got slaughtered"?

I know someone at Take-Two... time to make a phone call to make her life hell.

I don't think it's brainwashing--more like heartlessness.
