Yeah because Irma is a little bitch. Enjoy your bitch storm gator fuckers.
Irma > Harvey, get real homer.
When it comes to Hurricanes that make landfall in the US, a Cat 4 that cries a river, because of it's epic lollygagging, that's neat. A Cat 5 however, that's a generational hurricane.
1935, 1969, 1992, 2017 (probably). You don't see a Cat 5 US landfall every day.
Irma is a bitch, sure, but a generational one. This ain't no hoax, don't let daralon's shenanigans fool you.
What made Havey really unique was that there was that pressure system that made it stay, basically in one place.
Why is Harvey so stuck in place over Texas?
Hurricanes are circular structures with winds that spiral counterclockwise, but they are steered by larger wind patterns in the greater atmosphere that push them in one direction. In Harvey’s case, a big high-pressure system over the southeastern U.S. is trying to push the storm in one direction, but a big high pressure system over the southwestern U.S. is trying to push the storm in the opposite direction. “The systems have equal strength and are cancelling each other out,” leaving Harvey stranded, Masters says. “It’s highly unusual to have two highs on either side of a hurricane of equal strength.” The only other time Masters recalls that happening to a huge storm system was Hurricane Mitch in 1998, which struck Central America and killed an estimated 7,000 people in Honduras.
Still, though, Harvey was a Cat 4 when it hit landfall and Irma is going to be a Cat 4 as well. Let's just hope there are no pressure systems that will make Irma stall over Florida.

Comparing Irma to Harvey is fruitless. Its like comparing a quark to a neutrino. Both are so minuscule and have such a negligible effect on day to day life that they are not even worth comparing. Its more an academic exercise than anything. I'm just worried that by the time Irma gets to Houston it will have gone back to a Cat 4, not that that is scary in any way.
The superstorms are going to just keep on coming, getting bigger and bigger every year, God is punishing America; for allowing the Trannies to take over.

During a home game Thursday against the Miami Marlins, the team played “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” a 1984 hit by the Scorpions that has attained enduring popularity but the usage of which, particularly given the opponent, was deemed inappropriate by many observers.
According to the Miami Herald’s Clark Spencer, a Braves official apologized for the song, saying that it was on the team’s regular playlist but should have been pulled. The official added that the song would not be used again during the series.

Irma is now projected to be a Cat 5 at landfall. Irma isn't going to stall, Harvey will still be the wettest tropical cyclone on record in the contiguous United States, but that is about all Harvey will have on Irma.

Why is he punishing the South, then?
Because they were supposed to prevent that sort of thing, they're getting punished for letting it happen.

Seems plausible.
If this thing rampages through the Southland like a meteorological Uncle Billy, but suddenly stops short of North Carolina, I will concede the point to you.
