Well I certainly wouldn't end up poor from that, would probably come out ahead in the deal actually, in a financial sense that is.

Not too concerned about it, I just live in the now, and in the now, I don't have to live amonsgt the poor, and so fuck em, not my problem. When I was (relatively) poor, I wasn't anybody elses problem, I didn't expect them to care, in fact, I didn't want anybody up in my business, particularly not the government.

Most of the poor are not making themselves anybody's problem. They lead happier lives than most of the wealthier people I knew when I was a making quite a lot of money.

The people making the stink are usually middle class folks (lower middle class, but sill middle class). They are young and they are radicalized by the television, the government school system, and whatever ridiculous college degree they got in the arts. Antifa aren't blue collar workers. The people in this forum talking about "flipping the board" (a euphemism for war and theft) aren't working class. The people making such a nuisance are generally "college" educated and probably pretty far in debt themselves. Working class guys are better off than them.

I think you just let your wife's money get to your head to the point where you scoff at others for not being wealthier than her, as if you were the one who earned it.

Well except I was richer than my wife when I met her and I brought far more assets to the marriage than she did, she makes more money than I do now, liquidity wise, but she wouldn't actually be able to claim more assets as being her doing, it's not my wife I owe my personal wealth to, it's my father and his father before him, who left me an inheretence, which is why I'm not 100% sure I would come ahead in the deal if my wife kicked me to the curb, because asset wise, I paid for this house, from my accounts, and this is rather her most valuable asset by far.

We don't have joint accounts, I have the same accounts I had when we married, so while my wife has more cashflow on a weekly basis, I have far more money banked than she does, so it's liquidity v. equity, she's got the liquidity, I have the equity.

Personally, I've never found meekly attempting to please women to be a particularly sucessful strategy for getting them and keeping them in the fold. Tell you what tho, if you have the means to just walk up from the curb and buy a house in cash, that tends to get their attention.

They are essentially nesters by nature, it pleases them to nest, if you're down for that, then they are generally happy enough to put up with you.
