Pennsylvania is lower tax. If I could afford Bucks County real estate I'd love to live there, although realistically it's just too far from the family in CT.Ph64 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 5:31 am
(I don't delude myself it will actually happen, I've been putting a lot of thought into where I'd like to move to... Be nice to be closer to family, except both my siblings live in Portland OR and no chance in hell I'd move there. Both of them are thinking of moving away given how Portland has been going though... So we've had some discussions of future plans/location).

Hell, I'd have zero issues with being an 8-hour drive from family. Beats a day of airports/planes and $hundreds in cost, or 4 days of driving 10+hrs/day.MilSpecs wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 7:53 pmPennsylvania is lower tax. I'd feel the same if the family was that far away.Ph64 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 9:49 pmHell, I'd have zero issues with being an 8-hour drive from family. GOP in CT will not recover from this election - those who can move will move away.....those who don't won't waste the time to vote - it's meaningless anymore....The looters have won.

Kansas is where all Yankees should migrate. When you all get there, tell them you want the full Festus Hagan treatment with a John Brown chaser. Anyplace but Tennessee. Tennessee is terrible, you would hate it.

Kansas is very open minded. Especially in Lawrence. It's like a miniature SanFran and it's beautiful.
