The people need to take back control of their data, and the only way to do it is not to trust third parties.
In other words, live off the grid in a remote cabin in North Dakota.

Just by posting here you are trusting 3rd parties.

Nobody here is serious about trying to hide from the Commies, R U? Our way of resisting is taunt the risk of speaking freely. No one here’s a coward.

Fuck them. A bunch of transgender girly-boys coming to my house and threatening me is what I want. We gain strength from being on the defensive.

This. I’m not hiding online or censoring myself.

I’ll do my best to stay Grey Man in the real world, but I’m not going to stop making fun of Stupid when I see it online.

Thank you for that very vague and useless advice.
It's not vague, it's honest. The people need to take back control of their data, and the only way to do it is not to trust third parties. So if an entity says that "they can keep you protected" who keeps them protected? Follow the money, and you'll see your data is never truly protected unless you keep it off the internet.
You can’t use a computer without a third-party involved. Every component and piece of software is from a different company.

There is no way to ‘take control of your data’.
GCF is correct here. Tech supply chains are unregulated from a centralized cybersecurity standpoint. Firmware backdoors and OEM hacks could be lurking almost anywhere on any given system. If you didn't create each silicon wafer in your PC and phone personally, and with rigorous security testing, then your data remains at risk.

TC is also right about avoiding third party apps and software whenever possible. Obviously the less random code you have installed on your tech, the smaller your overall attack surface will be. But none of us are going to have 100% security or control of our information because everyone is using third party hardware, and most everyone is using third party software. So the best you can do is try to maximize the difficulty for others to steal your information (and probably just accept that China and the US can likely get it anyway).

There is a way to protect yourself online, but it is very difficult and likely to result in very poor internet performance. If you use Firefox containers, a VPN, For, and a few other players can't remember off the top of my head, then never use the same email, username, password, or any other identifiable data twice for different services then you can keep your data safe assuming the VPN is being honest about not keeping logs.

So it is doable, you'll probably have a hard time using the internet, and ultimately it comes down to trusting the services you are using.

R U really trying to hide? Jesus, man, it didn’t work for the Jews. It’s better to arm yourself.

Whether trying to hide or not, information is power and subterfuge has always been a critical component of warfare.

Would I try to "hide" my traffic from leftists and their corporate cronies? Absolutely. Only a fool would open their communications entirely to a hostile adversary while receiving nothing in return.

Didn't y'all watch GI Joe in the 80s? No one ever told you "Knowing is half the battle"?

I'm not running from any man-bun hipsters gathering in flocks to call me a racist - but Twitter, FB, and Google are gonna have to DIG HARD to feed my data profile to their predictive AI-engines from here on out.
