You guys are thinking in terms of economic left-right. The political marketing is about Social left-right.

Trump is about as far right as anyone since Nixon, on that metric.

I got booted from the local Progressive forum I post into. Me, a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House. This is the second time. The first time I mentioned it on a Conservative forum and somebody back-peddled, made excuses and publicly put me back on, but this time I got removed, Unfriended and Blocked by the majority of the posting members. (I'm pretty sure a lot of the Lurkers like me posting.)

The Virtual Civil War continues, and it's not Democrats vs. Republicans - it's status quo vs. budding-Marxists.

Martin, What are we going to do about the Communist? Can you folks handle your on trash or do we need to take care of the problem for you?

You made some good points about unions needing to be voluntary and outlawing public unions, were getting some agreement, so they banned you and then gloated about it.

That's why they are losing nationally, btw. That attitude. Just everything about what went down in that conversation.

I can go to a right wing forum and argue in support of private (voluntary) unions. I would get a lot of heat. I do here. But I don't think they would ban you for it.

That's where the left went wrong. They still don't see what they have become.
