HAHA! Mortgage payments and supplies for work(General Contractor). Shit started to spiral and started taking a life of its own. It took a few years to accrue that amount.
It wasn't even a good thing. I wish I had a Cadillac on 33's or some shit like that to show for it.

Fife and STA are both correct.....It is less to pay a mortgage than to pay rent.....but it is also true that we're headed for a repeat of 2008......the problem is the average income is falling and/or stagnant...while the cost of living continues to rise....simply put....people can't afford housing and getting them into government backed mortgages is the best stop gap measure we have, other than massive government public housing.....IMHO - this is a symptom indicative of a failing state.....Much like Rome, the proles are being placed into loans they will never be able to pay back....
