Abortion has ceased to be a political issue, gay marriage is never mentioned, you don't have to pray in school or salute the flag, evangelicals don't teach in public schools, or in the universities, and if they do, they're scared to speak out, and they don't write in any major publications. I don't think Trump gives a fuck about abortion. But you're missing the point. I'm not saying people don't care about abortion, it's just that there isn't much public debate, ink spilled in major media outlets, or debate in universitites.
