He really is an apex politician. The ultimate sleeper candidate.
Samoans (Polynesians) are some of the most real people I have ever encountered. So much so that I have hooked up my boat with them.
Same experiences here. Especially in the military. I miss my Hawaiin bud in the AF.

Great people.
I miss my FIL. He was of the generation that when the headed out in the morning their only question was which bus? Left was to town and right was to school. He joined the National Guard because he wanted a pair of their "cool boots."

We thought we were going to bounce from here in short order but given the fact that we live 3 doors down from where my wife's father stayed on homestead land and we and we are neck deep in her family history. We are staying for the time being. 8 houses on our cul de sac and 5 are relations of her. We are home.

Polynesian motto for in laws: You are on the team until you are not. (Unless you are the mudda or faddar uv da children then we have oda rules) HAHA

PS. They all know that they are pretty much black people. My wife was called pickeniny by her mom's parents who considered them all papolo.
