Are you on delay? I'm seeing 2-0 and Barzal got the second goal. Always knew giving Zaitsev that contract was a bad idea.
Yeah, a little bit, I was having dinner upstairs with the wife, so I'm running on a slight PVR delay.
Ah, well you'll catch up during intermission, I'll try not to post spoilers.

Everybody is sucking right now, Matthews deer in the headlights, Andersen bumble fucks it into his own net, Loafs just taking the night completely off so far.

Mind you, seven wins in a row at home, so they're due for one, they're not called the Loafs for nothing.

Still too fancy, him and Willy, gonna be twenty goalscorers until they simplify their game, less is more.

Now in this case that was a good combination of patience and simple, he just waits in the A-1 position and hesitates the tendy into opening up, but for every one of those, there's two where he looks off on an open lane to nowhere and/or coughs up the puck trying to stick handle it into the net.

Meh, 2-1 at the end of the first, if they decide to show up in the second, this game is not lost yet.

Compete level fluctuates game to game, and in game as well.

See, the thing about Mitchy is that he wants to make a fancy pance highlight reel move on every rush, can get away with that in junior, but on the aggregate, in the NHL, you'll get burned more often than not, is you don't pick your spots, and otherwise just make the simple play when there's nothing there.

Back to back losses to the Lottery Picks? That wouldn't be a good look.

No it wouldn't. If we don't win tonight we can pretty much kiss the playoffs goodbye.
