Got to love a guy who makes his point, immediately surmises that his point is invalid, and then stands behind it.
Right on.
Here’s a brain teaser for you to puzzle out - how many dots does it take to connect “cultural relativism” to the idea that one would be wise not to travel to the homeland of a foreign culture with the intention of badmouthing that culture while simultaneously trying to obtain citizenship there?
I bet it takes a lot of dots.
In fact, it may take so many dots that one could convincingly argue the two aren’t connected at all.

Interesting that localities play a role in the extension of national citizenship. AFAIK there is no US counterpart to that.

Lol I thought it was about basic human decency, let me check, yes that’s what you said before, but not now, now it’s about how best to avoid being attacked by irrational peasant?DBTrek wrote:

No in that case you’re right, the vegan woman was a fool if getting citizenship and fitting in was all she cared about.
But its almost like some people are able to put the interests of others before their own, a novel concept I’m sure. Probably why she is called “indecent” by internet goal post shifting troglodytes I’m guessing.

Some people do, in fact, put their interest in cows well before the interest of long established communities that they are visiting unbidden.
Those people are called assholes.
Except in Oregon, where we call them “socially conscious” then hire people to pump gas for their retarded asses.

I think that's a fantastic idea, really. It would never work here. Way too much corruption. The ones with the ability to grease the most hand wins.de officiis wrote:Interesting that localities play a role in the extension of national citizenship. AFAIK there is no US counterpart to that.

Lol, now it’s about “the interests of the community.” I need a list for all your contradictory goal posts just to keep track. Are you sure you’re not a pathological liar dude? Anyway, I’m sure one of these days you’re gonna figure out why your thoughtless initial opinion was right.DBTrek wrote:Oh indeed.JohnDonne wrote: But its almost like some people are able to put the interests of others before their own, a novel concept I’m sure.

I’m sure you’ve yet to make any kind of case for anything.
And I’m sure that’s not going to change, because you have no case to make.
In fact, your reductive and repetitive misdirection tactic was pretty obvious upon its second use, but it’s not like anyone had high expectations of you.

What if complaining about other cultures is a part of Dutch culture, so by the laws of cultural relatavism the Swiss are forced to put up with her badmouthing?
