It's not like they're going to be running Hillary next time.
Not if they run Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren. If they run Dwayne Johnson, watch out Trump.
Dwyane Johnson is a Republican in his mentality. If a Republican stays in office, I'll be all for it.

He is what Democrats call a DINO.

And he'll still win, handily. Joe Biden isn't going to beat The Rock, that's for damn sure. Bernie will eat A People's Elbow and Fauxcahontas is getting The Rock Bottom treatment. Septuagenarian Politicians can't hang with The People's Champion, they lack the charisma.

I'll vote for him, as long as he stays true to his roots.

Who wouldn't vote for Dwayne Johnson? He's too damn likable to lose, if he ever gets into politics, he probably wins in a landslide against whoever he's facing, bet that.

Pretty sure the moment the Dems get back into a position to make a pick, Ginsberg will accommodate them, and Kennedy could too, so the whole thing may rest on the shoulders of Trump in 2020
All valid.

My point, however, is that the replacement for Scalia was the key to everything.

Merrick for Scalia would have made Pedro to Montreal look shrewd, and the Bambino to NY look like a Rain Man move.

There's also the problem of controlling the senate to get the pick through, not to mention finding another Gorsuch, Gorsuch is actually a rare bird.

Even if Trump gets the pick, no guarantee it's gonna be a Gorsuch. Could end up being some Neocon Cuck instead.

Depending on the makeup of the senate, and how much political capital Trump would have by then, he may be forced to compromise.

Trump had ample opportunity to fuck up his first appointment; but he won and we won, and he got Gorsuch. Do a MHF search for my first "Gorsuch" posts.

Trump held the line, and maybe then some, with Gorsuch.

For now the clock at least still keeps going tick, tick, tick.

We might still need an on-side kick recovery, but we're still breathing.

Still holding the line, but I can see quite a few scenarios where this ends up being a wash, Ginsberg and Kennedy end up being replaced by a Ginsberg and Kennedy, the general trend being Ginsbergian Kennedyville, not Gorsuchtopia.

Nobody can beat the Rock right now. Trump better actually deliver on his promises, or he's fucking fired. The Rock is sword of Damocles over Trump's head right now.

If he doesn't follow some key things for me, I won't.
