Micro-transactions are essential for character development. As you play the game, your financial situation becomes increasingly desperate. You are forced to keep paying money to unlock new levels, and it helps to show the audience what your values and underlying motivations are. Would you forgo paying your electric bill to keep gaming? Would you drop your insurance so that you can ascend the candy crush level hierarchy? I would, in a heartbeat. And this gave me a strong sense of self. By playing these games and giving them your credit card number, you embark on a quest of self discovery. It is worth it.

Get smits, drtrech and Harry. or any other legitimate person, on board for a hunting/fishing trip to the remote and secure Casa de Fife; or just come by yourself; I'll show you all a hell of a good time. The tablets and phones will be securely locked up in the truck; nobody will get at them.Speaker to Animals wrote:It's time to go the gym. Go run. Go beat people up in a UFC club (or probably get beat up). Go hiking, hunting, fishing, or stuffing five dollar bills down the g-strings of the girls at the local Treasure Club.
Games are getting unplayable fast. They really aren't that satisfying anyway. Not like they used to be.

I'm paying more than $200/month for me and my son's BJJ there. We have UFC-branded gyms locally that are a lot cheaper, more like your standard 24hr/LA Fitness pricing but there's less of a community and I've heard the trainers don't care as much.

I just want to learn Wing Chun, honestly. I am getting the movement training on my own. Sometimes it feels like I can do some crazy acrobatic shit, but I am not sure yet. I belted out some pistol squats the other day. That blew my mind. I am pretty close to one-arm push ups too. The gymnastics stuff was going well, but I still have to rehab my shoulders. I think my shoulders and neck are the last places with systemic pain left.
The stuff that's going on with me is really pretty wild when you think about it. I was totally bed-ridden a few years ago.

Not sure that a law would be the answer to this. It’s really just another market wave coming through, like MMO, FPS, casual, “open world”, and so on.
What would help, would be some transparency, like we have with mobile games. They have to say on the sales page that the game features “in-app purchases”. Real games should do this as well.

I'm just glad the White House will listen for a change about the Loot Crates. I haven't slept in 4 weeks because my Loot Crate gave me an Arkham Asylum poster not the Justice League one I wanted. Not cool Frank Miller!
