Russia is simply interested in undermining its geopolitical rivals' power like they've been for a long time. Fanning the flames of pre-existing domestic US conflicts, is a logical step in that direction. I believe Russia has done the same things we have done. I do not believe there is any abnormal level of collusion between Trump and Russia at all.

I do believe Russia assisted Obama during his second election by helping fund Ron Paul's campaign in 2012. If you look at the Ron Paul Revolution it was the exact same type of campaign as Donald ran, 100% social media and ironic memes. RP was at 10-15% in 2012. Then somehow they made Ron Paul disappear after he'd shown Romney as the Neo-Con he is. (I imagine the CIA had some type of Kompromat on Dr Paul).
