Have a Comcast, Verizon, Charter or any other of the big companies, they have a dual modem system in your house. One for your connection, the other open to everyone. Even if you ask them to shut down the wi-fi from the modem, they won't shut down the public one, which means you are still vulnerable.jbird4049 wrote:So apartment dwellers don't use WiFi? No all Im saying is that government wouldnt be able to look inside your house because you are renting. They would absolutely still look inside your apartment. The Conservative wrote:Have a Comcast, Verizon, Charter or any other of the big companies, they have a dual modem system in your house. Still the same thing will happen, either way... the only way to solve this issue is two ways.heydaralon wrote:And what Im saying is that you could always just use starbucks wifi. The Conservative wrote:And what I'm saying is it doesn't matter...heydaralon wrote: No all Im saying is that government wouldnt be able to look inside your house because you are renting. Still confused why anyone would care. They already have your entire digital life splayed out in front of them, along with several private corporations. That's far more important than the ability to see your radio shadow from a few feet outside. The Conservative wrote:Still the same thing will happen, either way... the only way to solve this issue is two ways.heydaralon wrote:And what Im saying is that you could always just use starbucks wifi. The Conservative wrote:
