Defining truth based on feels

I caught most of a documentary on Showtime last night called Trumped. It was basically a recap of his path from declaring his candidacy through election night. For a while it seemed generally unbiased. But the filmmakers true colors were displayed in full effect during election night. Seems these guys were fine talking about Trump in a semi-positive way when he was insulting the GOP field, but the election night chapter ended in the filmmakers literally breaking down in tears as they came to the realization that Trump had won. As long as they thought he wasn't going to win, they were fine playing the part of the dutiful filmmaker recording history. Once he won, it was tears and swearing.

So this wasn't really a documentary at all, but more of a propaganda tool disguised as a documentary. They didn't even try and make he filmmakers look even somewhat impartial at that point.

It's also what the media has not done. When I look at what democrats are saying in public and social media, I don't get the sense they have any idea how much they lost. They talk about stopping Trump, yada yada, but they don't seem to realize that the GOP is a single state legislature away from being able to call a constitutional convention and actually getting their agenda passed.

Think about that. The republicans control both houses of Congress and the executive. They will control the Supreme Court sometime in the next five years or so. They control two-thirds of the governorships. They are one legislature away from being able to convene a convention.

But if you turn on CNN or whatever, all you see are lies and promises that they will stop Trump.

I suspect if somebody on CNN seriously broached the topic of how far the democrats have collapsed, the reasons why, including the corruption and globalist policies, then his candy ass would get fired. It's almost as if their language policing is a double edged sword..

I admit that it took me time to understand who Dan was politically. I had researched his background, so I had presumptions. But he does such a good job of selling the 'Middle of the Road' average guy thing, I bought into it. But when he really had to defend himself he showed his true colors.

A decade ago DCF looked like a meeting of Eugene Debs, Karl Marx, LBJ and Margaret Sanger.
Over time they were defeated and retreated because they were beaten by sound arguments. Overtime all their bullshit policies and Utopian Theories were destroyed, they had no new ideas, just spouting off old tired rhetoric.
