I think they're the same as labor unions - ostensibly serving a good purpose, but completely corrupt and overreaching. If they really cared about equality, then they'd be encouraging people to integrate into the larger society, not reach for some kind of special "separate but equal" status.

I've met probably 3 actual "African-Americans" in my life, and thousands of black Americans. You're not from fucking Africa, any more than I'm from Germany. I'm an American, and so are you. That's the critical flaw in BLM, and all these other rackets.

Exactly. And that's part of what's tearing our society apart. And who does it benefit?

Sure, it gives a group identity to American black people, but what's that worth, when the other 85% identifies as American - a different tribal identity. This lesson has been learned with every single wave of immigrants, but not blacks (or natives). Because slavery was an odious injustice, and an easy emotional push-button to be used for instant credit/profit/power.

If there were more natives around, you could be sure that we'd have "historically native" schools, and Native History month, and some other sort of pigeon English for them.

Men make up about 50% of the general population, but men comprise 96% of those killed by police. Does this huge number of “excess male deaths” prove that the police are being sexist and that they are biased against men? Does this imbalance in the number of men killed mean that we need a “Male Lives Matter Too” movement?

Oh, please that mentality does exist in a lot of PDs, nationwide. IMO, the whole point of BLM was to fight that mentality.

Unless you've ever worked in any of those PDs, I don't think you actually know what mentality exists there. You were sold a narrative that police were gunning down unarmed people in the streets, and you bought it. Now that the data (gathered by a rag that wanted to prove that myth) has debunked that myth, you should think about adjusting your preconceived notions.
