I wondered when this would happen. It's only a matter of time before these Muslim attacks on westerners results in reciprocated attacks. I can well see some dude who lost his daughter in some terror attack finally snapping and shooting up a mosque in the aftermath of another Muslim terror attack. It could get really ugly.

Makes sense for terrorist acts to ramp up during Christmas/Hanukkah/Festivus/Jul. It scares people more if it's done during a traditionally peaceful time, when people are with their families.

Also, during holidays the terrorists who might otherwise be in a job, will have the time to prepare without setting of any warning lights.
