Hillary's official political is over, so you're gonna need a new punching bag for the next two years, at least. Let's see, the DNC votes for a new head in February, who's the current favorite, complete with endorsement from Bernie Sanders?

Hmm... Keith Ellison, first Muslim elected to Federal Congress, took his oath on Jefferson's copy of the Qu'ran, good start, but we still need to spice him up a bit to differentiate from the mayor of London. Hmm, ISIS put him a hit list for perceived apostasy? Yeah, I can work with that, sure. But it's still not enough, we need something to really rile up the conservative bile. How about some LGBT friendliness? There, that'll scratch the anti-SJW itch nicely.

So, what's your plan for rebuilding the DNC? Going beyond the 50 State Strategy and going for a 3,143 County Strategy? Sold, there's some change I can believe in!
Can we do away with the oath on any piece of religious bullshit already? That's old hat.

I hope so. The sooner the democrats completely alienate the white contingent that isn't completely cucked the better. Using a Muslim to run opposition to a man that is "just trying to MAGA for all Americans," is going to go over real swell :P
He is a Congressman not a Senator he filibisters nothing.

I can't remember. I thought they were going to make him the DNC chair. Oh yeah found it

I'm ignorant of what powers this entails though.

Also he's been called an anti-Semite and vocal Berny supporter breathlessly all at once in that article. Jesus Christ dude

Also, glad to see you here Kerning.

What is your logic here? You would prefer them to wrangle the working class white voters back in? Clubby.... try and think this through for a minute. Why did Trump win states nobody thought were possible?

Ha, seems like fatties with bad hats and a presumption of never being wrong are doing quite well for themselves these days.

How many people wanted Trump to be more active before they really didn't?

Luckily for the Republicans, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will be around for those 2 years, so they'll have a reliable punching bag or two when they need one. Too bad for them Harry Reid saw the writing on the wall and bailed, he's a solid bag to punch if need be.

What other roles does the head of the DNC have during non-election years? Is the leader of the DNC considered the effective leader of the party? I always thought the minority leaders in Congress played more of a leadership role than whichever flunky is running the national committees, but I could be wrong

He was wearing a Niners hat. In 2016.
