I find this amusing. Trump is the obvious choice, of course I am waiting for people to say something along the lines, see he shares more with Hitler now too, and here is the proof.

I honestly can't believe Hillary was the runner-up. She's just not... I dunno, unique. I'd have ranked Bernie Sanders ahead of Hillary. He electrified a huge portion of the Democratic base, and moved the discussion pretty significantly, both on the right and the left. She hardly did anything of the sort.

Eh. Clinton is the first person with ovaries to get that close to being POTUS. Some people think that's a big deal. I'm not sure that Sanders made a lasting impact on the nation, let alone the world.

I'm not making a comparison. Not comparing liberals to commies. The attitudes on the left in the Bernie camp ARE very much the attitudes of the supporters of socialism. The attitudes among Bernie bros aren't comparatively similar to those of socialists, they ARE the the attitudes of socialists.

No matter how much you keep trying to claim it, Trump is not openly making the same promises as Hitler. All you can do is make weak connections like,

So, when he speaks very slowly and loudly "I will deport all of them" or "I will stop the flow of Mexicans with a big beautiful wall", and millions of videos are spread across a worldwide network of devices, and every single news source on the planet verifies that it was said... We can take comfort in the fact that he didn't specifically say "Jews".

Obama has been extremely authoritarian. I'm no fan of his, though I can't deny that his personal charisma is staggering.

Guantanimo remains open, Americans are still considered 'enemy combatants' at will, and we are still fighting-not-fighting 2-5 "conflicts" across the globe. My health insurance is a sick joke, and the banksters continue to mass-rape the populace at will.

I don't pin all of this on him personally, but he's been the captain for 8 years, and that's where the buck stops. Masterful public speaker. Calming force on the extremes of society. Not a great president.
