The most important thing is winning the Conservative Party leadership, we vote the bums out in Canada, so if we can raise her to Leader of HM Loyal Opposition, she'll be Prime Minister by default as soon as folks get sick of Justin the Dauphin, the next general election is not till 2020, so plenty of time for the Liberals to shoot themselves in the foot between now and then, it's only been a year, and the honeymoon is already over, and they've already started to grate on people with their high handedness, so I can see a populist revolt coming on the horizon, the Liberal's hubris, ever their undoing.

The other thing is actually to pump up DrY's Party, the Kneedippers are the Bernie Bros to split the left here, their only serviceable role is to get the Conservatives elected by throwing their teddy's in the corner and storming off from the centre when the Liberals tack to the right, so if we can get the socialists to flee back to the NDP somehow rather than rally around Justin to "Stop Leitch!!!", that would be a help as well.

The Liberals having to ram a pipeline or two down the Kneedipper base's throats, ironically to try to help the Kneedipper government in Alberta, would be one way the Left would be pitted against itself.

I think your framing is perfect. The Right protects property rights, something that is obviously important to a well governed, free and open society.

The Left works for the rights of people without property or capital. It would seem, at least from the discussions held at our new digs, that the Right doesn't see that as important, or believes that everyone's rights are fairly protected as long as we protect property rights.

Disney is in no way beholden to the left... although I'm fairly certain they are heavily invested in the duopoly.

The duopoly is in fact the enemy of the left... although most of the left doesn't know it...

The duopoly is the friend of corporate power... and corporate power gets a relatively lenient ticket with the right.

Our common purpose here... if there is any... is to unite to overthrow the corruption that exists in both superficially left and right mainstream parties.
