Nigel Farage was on "question time" tonight, our leading political panel show.
He sat there grinning like a demented Cheshire cat as it was discussed that the new leader of his party wants to privatise the NHS. That Brexit campaign bus he drove around in had £350 million a week to spend on the NHS plastered in 6' high letters along the side of it. So now we know they were lying about both.
Other than that he went on about 200 new mosques being built in Germany and sucked up to Putin as a leading light on immigration and nationalism.
I am so happy he has failed every time he's stood as an MP. At least 5 times IIRC.

To be honest Farage is a fuckwit. He's a one trick pony who just shouts "out" whatever question you ask him. It wasn't really fair of them to ask him questions about complicated international affairs.

At any rate it's the West's bungling that has helped him more than whatever else he's done to help himself.

But it's not really effective, Putin rails impotently from the Kremlin, but nothing in Russia works as it supposed to and nobody actually follows his orders, so Putin's power is an illusion. I mean, good lord, he can't even effectively collect taxes, which is the primary strategic impetus of all state power.
