What exactly am I tearing down, again? Hyperbole. I'm asking a multi varied question. I'm also posting videos and articles on some economic issues. This all of course means I want to tear down Capitalism... I do propose that money being the be all end all is not something that truly unites a country.DBTrek wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 11:44 amIt’s the standard regardless of my coolness. And you simply will not address the notion that a society should not be primarily organized economically. Other things matter more. But not in a "capitalist" merchant shop keepers worldview.
If other things matter so much more, why don’t you focus on them instead of hand-wringing over the most successful economic system 10,000 years of human experimentation has produced? Why don’t you build instead of tearing down?

Spotting problems is the lowest form of awareness.
Mice can spot problems.
Social media is full of fat fucking nobodies wailing about all the problems they can identify.
What are you building?
Or are you just mousing your way through life and telling yourself that your problem identification “skills” make a difference?

Just say you don't want to engage the question. You don't want to think or talk about what is of higher value than money /economics. And your insulting. Cool. What your doing right now is somehow better than what you are complaining about in the quote?DBTrek wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 11:51 amSpotting problems is the lowest form of awareness.

In would’ve thought that was obvious from the way I ignored your off-topic, meaningless, and subjective question the first three times. You really need me to explicitly state it? Ok.
I have no interest in answering your off-topic, meaningless, and completely subjective question. I came to the Capitalism thread to talk about capitalism.

You answered it. Anything that isn't economic is meaningless to you. Subjectivity is meaningless and only money is objective.DBTrek wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 11:58 amIn would’ve thought that was obvious from the way I ignored your off-topic, meaningless, and subjective question the first three times. I answered the question: the only values I capitulate to are the ones that increase my liberty. What other people want is of little concern to me unless it infringes on my liberty, so it’s an easy answer: does what you want affect me or mine?

If I answered it then why did you have to make up an answer for me? And why were you badgering me for *not* answering it?
At least your finally building something, even if it is only transparent fiction. One step at a time, buddy. You’ll get there.

Depends on what we are talking about. Assuming you live in my locality then generally we are going to have to work together to one degree or another.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 12:01 pmI answered the question: the only values I capitulate to are the ones that increase my liberty. You made up an answer when I pointed out your off-topic and subjective question was useless to pursue.
So I did better than answer - I inspired you to answer.
That’s leadership.
