No thanks

- cross country skiing, especially the ski and shoot one
- ice dancing

Meh

- hockey - won't turn it off, esp in US game
- curling (Nerd loves to watch women's curling, for some reason.)

Mostly we just have it on; very few events grab our full, sit on the couch and watch, attention. I'll record opening ceremonies and get through the three hour debacle in about 30 minutes.
I love the opening ceremony the best- both the Summer and Winter Olympics.

Correctamundo.

We're not paying the big bucks for our team in Smashvile to make the Canuckistan, Swiss, or Finnish teams look pretty in some god-forsaken IOC shithole country every now and then.

Bet dat, cousin.

Would be nice if the Leafs could beat the Ducks tonight and help the Avs out, we need the help for the next two to four week, get well soon MacKinnon. Thanks for the help Nylander, but the Leafs better step their game up.

Why does Komarov have to suck so much? Why the fuck does Babcock play him so damn always? I don't get it. Leafs flushing this one down the drain real quick, getting pumped now.

Leafs continue to be a work in progress, really they just have to grow up, there's nothing to be done about it short term, just have to stick with the program, speaking of which, not going off the deep end with the Travis Dermott hype, but none the less, as of right now, 34th overall second round pick is looking early first round good.

We should be sending our best athletes to the Olympics, regardless of whether they are professionals or not. That was sort of the point of the original Olympic games. You send your best to compete.

The IOC is still having trouble playing nice in kindergarten though, that's just the way she goes, I guess.
:x

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Fuck the IOC and that stubborn horse they rode in on.

The Norwegians get it. They are rolling in with Viking war runes on their gear.

The Olympic games are supposed to be warlike, not some final-level junior hockey league.

If I had to guess, he's trying to get them to grind, Komarov is one of his few grinders, he's trying to send the message, if you want ice time, you have to grind, if you're just gonna float around the outside and avoid contact, then Komarov is going to get your ice time.
