Re: Unite the Right
If you look at it like an United Nations Peacekeeping operation, put your Blue Berets on for a second, seems to me, the co-belligerents who crossed the Zone of Separation here, was Black Lives Matter & Co, ergo, get back on your side of the Zona, BLM, you don't go into Charlottesville VA to pull down a statue of Robert E. Lee, if you have any interest in keeping the peace, this was a blatant provocation.

Greg Johnson's take. I know some people will listen to him thanks to Darryl.

Man, are they going to be angry when this guy walks.
We aren't buying your bullshit any longer.
One antifa guy, hitting the back of the car with a bat means that the driver has a legitimate "self-defense" claim vs people in front of the car of the car who did NOT hit his car with a bat?
Did the people he drove into wield a weapon against him? Attack his car? No? Then how can seriously claim "self-defense" here? You pretend to care about guilt by association here, earlier in this thread:
... so presumebly you, at least intellectually, understand the concept of "individual acts = individual responsibility". If a leftist at a counter-protest against white nationalists hits the back of a car with a bat, do ALL leftists everywhere in America or even everywhere on that street, hit the back of that car with a bat? Or is the person hitting the back of the car with a bat the one, individual person responsible for hitting the car with a bat and the person driving his car into the crowd the one, individual person responsible for driving his car into the crowd? It's fucking bullshit that you focus on this one guy, paint the entire right with his actions
The answer really ought to be easy, StA.
Fame is not flattery. Respect is not agreement.

Re: Unite the Right
You got a handful of liberal politicians, who won some close elections, who are then claiming that as a mandate to remove all symbols of the Confederacy in Dixie, on behalf of special interest groups who are made up mostly of Yankees? Uh-oh, seems to me, you keep going on this trajectory, you're gonna stir up a heck of lot more trouble than just one guy driving one car into a crowd, this is a cold peace, uneasy truce, who really gave these liberal polticians a mandate to throw gasoline on the embers?
You think we Anglos would ever go into Quebec and fuck with their Marquis de Montcalm like this? Hells no, all heck would break loose, stay on your side of the Zona, if you want to keep the peace.

Re: Unite the Right
Looks like he was driving at an unsafe speed near pedestrians before the guy with a bat hit his car, I'd even go as far as to suggest the guy hitting his car was in "retaliation" for him driving towards the crowd so quickly. Maybe I'm wrong

Maybe so. I've also seen what look like people chasing him already. I doubt he was thinking clearly either way.

Look, 20 somethings that buy a V8 Dodge Challenger aren't exactly known for being the most level headed bunch. I would even concede that it was a case of road rage perhaps. But this fucking crying in the MSM about Evil Nazis and Terrorism is blatantly false.
As for the cops declaring a lawful assembly unlawful and funneling the protestors into the counter protestors, well, people got hurt. That's not on the protestors that's on the police. If we want to play by those rules more people are going to be hurt. That's just the facts jack.

Re: Unite the Right
I think anytime we adopt an attitude of "Ah well, fuckit" when a guy intentionally mows down a bunch of civilians we're probably drinking too deeply of the kool-aid. No. You intentionally mow down people because you disagree with their ideology, you got to trial and you partake of your slice of justice pie. Same folks throwing a shit fit over the Republican congressional shooter and BLM sniper have become overnight apologists for vigilante murderers when it's their side finally racking up the kills.Smitty-48 wrote:Bunch o' hipsters went down to Dixie to stir up a hornet's nest, and some of them got stung? /shrugs, I shed no tears for them, got what you were looking for, don't come crying to me after.
