The Guardian inflicts real harm every day with their lies, smears, and propaganda. I am not going to get upset about one of their fake journalists getting body-slammed for getting up in somebody's face and grabbing his hand. I'd do the same thing. The only thing I think sucks is how he tried to cuck out. He should have just flat out said the reporter got up in his face and grabbed his arm, so he body-slammed the little prick.

Some could say the same about the Catholic Church.

I don't hate freedom of speech. He can say whatever he wants. I don't hate the freedom of the press. I don't think the Guardian is real journalism anyway. But they are free to publish whatever the fuck they want.

The reporter was clearly looking to get a rise out of him, if he had just come out of nowhere and jumped some random reporter on the street, folks would of course be "wth?!"

Even just looking at it from a purely Machiavellian perspective.. I don't know much about Montana, but I know a dude body-slamming a snotty Guardian reporter like that would get traction in a lot of the rural areas here in WNC. You'd have to weigh the costs of a misdemeanor assault conviction with the reward in the polls, and I am not so sure a misdemeanor assault conviction matters so much..
