No, not really. The current globalist regime requires growth. It's probably a mistake to equate that with capitalism itself.

I think it's quite possible that capitalism will always lead to this, but we lack enough data points to say one way or another. We'd basically need more planet Earths evolving capitalism independently.

I don't know what commies you are referring to either. I was trapped in macro econ 101 being taught by an actual communist professor. I had to learn communism and political economics from a Cuban textbook. Communists -- the real thing -- believed capitalism had the incredible potential for scale and growth. Communism is a theory of capitalism. Communism, they believe, is the next evolutionary step to capitalism. They weren't anti-capitalist in the sense that these Antifa faggots are.

Communism without first capitalism is widely believed to be a mistake. That's what Russia and China did.

I often hear ridiculous atheists decry all the violence caused by religions. In truth, religions caused very little violence. Most warfare until the modern period was over resources and land. But when you get to the modern period, the people who caused the most damage were philosophers. Philosophy can kill lots of people, and communism is exhibit A.
