Metro numbers don't line up with crowd size at Trump's inauguration. They don't prove how many people showed up, correlation does not equal causation. Not everyone who rode the metro attended the inauguration, and not everyone who was at the inauguration took the metro. Herpa derp. The photos that make Trump's crowd size look like it was half of Obama's was not taken while Trump was giving his inaugural address, that was the media trying to make him look bad by taking a photo when the crowd was nowhere near it's maximum capacity.

Not sure the crowd is going all the way back to the monument. The picture only shows it going back to the temporary press building. The Press building is in front of the monument by quite a bit. I've asked for a POV shot that includes the space between the Press building and the monument but nobody will share one
