I think women in general are burning female privelege to the ground right now. Even plenty of blue pull men see right through it lately.

For instance, the female privelege of having baseless allegations taken as fact, and the man a woman lied about punished, is already coming to an end. Just five years ago this would have seemed impossible.

Now some crazy chick makes up stories and pretty much everybody rolls their eyes.

Even if it were true, it's pointless to accuse it without evidence now.

It is almost as though a man's word is worth more again.

Perhaps, but Lisa Page, Omarosa, it's a good idea to remember that a woman scorned (even if not sexually) can be completely thoroughly utterly *vicious*. Men rarely get that kind of vindictiveness.

I too think Omarosa's lying, if she had something criminal, it would be public. No doubt scorned women are famous for exacting vengeance. I think the difference between these two is, Page was on the inside. She's a lawyer and knows what's going to hit hard.

There is nothing in the messages between Strzoks and Page that indicates that they were in a relationship other than professionally. The whole story about them being lovers was just an attempt to explain the familiarity and make you read what was said in a different tone. Nice attempt.
Someone pointed out they never released the emojis in the texts. I see that as more evidence that there was no intimate relationship between the two in a sexual way. Just two conspirators.

I listened to the recording expecting something interesting...and it sounds more incriminating for herself, tbh. She must have hit record when she started seeing the chief of staff walking towards her with lawyers, which indicates she probably was expecting something, maybe hoping for something for her lawyer to use or something - even if the recording was illegal. If she did something even more illegal than record the convo, she may have hoped she'd rather get charged for a "minor" offense than whatever legal ramifications Kelly was referring to in the tape.

But she was a contestant on his show, right? No reason to trust the words of professional attention seekers.

Only a small percentage of all the texts have been released. There may be a whole lot of Sexting that we didn't see.
