'Unprecedented amount' of info must be declassified due to media blackout, he says

Troves of information from the DoJ and FBI must be declassified to reveal the true extent of the collusion between Hillary Clinton’s campaign and “Russia’s propaganda arm,” according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).

“The fact that the media is ignoring this is even more of a reason that we are going to have to have more information than usual declassified,” Nunes told Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures.

“We are going to have an unprecedented amount of information declassified because the media is just not covering this topic.”

Nunes explained that the origins of the Steele Dossier are traced back to “Russian propaganda arms,” which were then sent to the FBI through the Clinton campaign to launch the phony Russia Witch Hunt against President Trump, which in turn has destroyed the reputation and good standing of the FBI and DoJ.

“So here you have information flowing from the Clinton campaign, from the Russians likely I believe was handed directly from Russian propaganda arms to the Clinton Campaign sent to the top levels of the FBI and Department of Justice to open up a counterintelligence investigation into a political campaign [Trump’s] that has now polluted nearly every top official at the DoJ and FBI over the course of the last couple of years.”

Nunes’ remarks come ahead of DoJ official Bruce Ohr’s testimony to Congress later this month, where he’ll explain his involvement with the Steele Dossier, as his wife Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, the intelligence group which subcontracted former M16 agent Christopher Steele to compose the dossier.

Again, think carefully about that. Think about all of their reporting since March 17, 2017.

#3) As a direct consequence of #1 and #2 – The media have deliberately, and with specific intent, falsified their reporting and kept the truth hidden which would undermine their false reporting. Again, think very carefully about the ramifications.

The article I just read and posted shows that the security of those documents has already been violated. The media has had them. Since they are already out, there's not much reason not to declassify them.

I would have liked to see it sooner, but the result is a forward step even if slow.

Considering there is no help from the Senate, and damn little from the DOJ on rooting out the Coup D'etat attempt and the conspirators, the progress on this is OK. Look at any deep government scandal, it takes time. I keep reminding folks it was 6 years after Iran Contra before anyone was answering to charges in court.
