Dude. How was the Tea Party any different from irritated vaginas? Both were examples of the lowest possible denominator showing their ass on the national mall.

The Tea Party was very different. It's origins were in the 2008 TARP Bailout, very much grassroots in it's orgin(later it was co-opted).

Then it only really got a lot of MSM Press with Obama's Bailout of failed mortgage holders. It was all about Taxpayers being pissed about what their money was being spent on in Washington. It wasn't about the election of Barrack Obama. Note, the Tea Party didn't try to get Obama removed from office, instead, the removed members of Congress from office through the election process.

I agree with their outrage, but it quickly turned into a clown show.

Turns out that the adults on the right and left who have enough free time to protest LARP in full costumes are a bunch of dummies. Who knew?

LARPing is a good way to put it. Lots of it on both sides. The OWS was the Left's idea to focus blame on the Financial Crisis away from Government and toward the Private Sector. The Tea Party turned out to be effective in getting members in Congress, but looking at the shameful Omnibus Bill signed this Spring, pretty much a failure.

Both had a point. America isn’t supposed to be a land of privitized gains, socialized losses for banks (OWS), nor is the government supposed to be a bottomless financial pit masquerading as a social welfare agency (Tea Party).

But that messaging is quickly lost as the dregs of the right and left turn out in the street dressed for Mardi Gras and chant batshit crazy slogans for news cameras.
