As a medical doctor, he would automatically be a Major

The officers are more cut throat, they have their own set of rules separate from the ranks

They are actually competing against each other for command spots, so they have a different idea of blade

When you're in a command position, even just a Section Commander like me, you have to do things which the troops in the ranks think are "buddy fucking", but they're wrong, because once you're in command, you're not their buddy anymore

The other team members have to rely on you, if you're a blade, if you blade buddy, that's the lowest of the low
