You’ve confused him with someone who believes in meritocracy.
There is no winning because there can be no competition. But if you recite your demographics to him and recount the evils of capitalism, religion, and banks there might be a retweet and a Facebook like in it for you.

I really, really doubt there is any value in a who's worse Republican or Democrat pissing contest.

Almost everyone on this forum won't defend either party when push comes to shove.

But most everyone on the forum has one of those two parties they can relate to slightly more than the other...

Those who favor free markets, less welfare state and less gun control have tended towards Republicans...

Those who support welfare and environmental policies in balance with liberal markets and were less squeamish about "reasonable" gun control have tended towards Democrats...

Both of those groups of people tend to feel betrayed by the mainstream parties, but more irritated by the other party...

So what's to gain from this debate?

Me mostly know who's who on the spectrum of left to right and libertarian to authoritarian from our little quizzes.

I could cite a few personal statistics, but that wouldn't prove anything to you. All my claims are meaningless on a forum like this. Do you believe me when I tell you I'm an average cook, but super smart when it comes to talking with data?

I just wanted to rethink what I wrote - I've never claimed to be a computer scientist. I'm not a scientist in any way.
