It's not wide open. The only candidates with any real chance are Biden, Sanders and Harris.

It's either like 2012 and the Dems will go with Biden like the Republicans went with Romney, not because the establishment loves him, but because far-right was too divided early on to stop him, and that gave Romney all the momentum he needed to win, just like the far-left being divided will benefit Biden. Or it's like 1972 and a George McGovern far left type will knock off Biden, because he pisses away the nomination via gaffes, and the far-left doesn't vote split enough for him to pull it out.

Tulsi isn't far left enough to be a McGovern type, she isn't going to steal Sanders and Harris voters, she's actually vying for center left democrats, like Biden and Beto. She's too centrist to win the far left intersectional coalition, being a Hindu woman isn't the right kind of intersectional the Dems are looking for, so she's got to win over the establishment, and she has zero chance of that.
