Wrong article Nuke. This is the one stirring up a fuss in the right wing tabloids.

The article you quoted is a fairly reasonable request to stop living in the past and time to move on, it never calls anyone racist. The Robert Fisk article in the Independant is just race baiting nonsense from a paper owned by Russian oligarch Alexander Lebedev.

Well that's just ignorant. Falafel doesn't smell anything like curry.

Nige, not content to blow up the Jew run EU declares he's running for Anglo Fuhrer in 2020 to solve the EU question once and for all.

In all seriousness this isn't anything anyone doesn't already know and the headline makes it sound a little worse than what he actually said. He was simply pointing out the undue amount of influence Jews enjoy through things like AIPAC. A decidedly more real, and actually not made up whole cloth, like a cloth, foreign influence.

This is why he never got elected.
Apart from his election as an EU bureaucrat, ironically.

Holy shit there are some gems in that article

"I have a passion for history"
"All nations honour their moments of revolution, triumph and nation-building. Most are excuses for fake history. I was brought up to regard VE Day as when “we” defeated Hitler. Russia defeated Hitler; we helped."
"But then no one now commemorates the American revolution as a victory for slavery. "
"What about remembering Trafalgar Day, Waterloo Day and, for that matter, Guy Fawkes? They all portray foreigners as objects of hatred, ridicule and condemnation"
"archaic strategies, such as submarine warfare, convoy protection, aerial dogfighters and manned bombers. "

I used to think that the "long memory" part of history did and does lead to a lot more conflicts and by remembering without obsessing this could lead to some lasting peace, but that's just utopian and leads to more ignorance and the old maxim of history repeating itself. At its worst, like in this article, its just globalist tripe

This paragraph explains it all

"Identity politics is explosive enough without drenching it in the fuel of history. An upsurge in Europe’s remembered complaints is threatening its stability. The Catalans have no substantive dispute with Madrid, beyond seeking a remembered separatism. The Scots’ case for independence is not the outcome of some present oppression, but of a congeries of past slights and indignities."

Step in line with the EU bitches
No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session

They want you to forget your past because they want to control your future. Marxists and globalists see tradition and devotion to country as an impediment to their globalist schemes. Whatever ostensible excuses they provide for wanting us to forget the past, the reason is that they want to erase the kinds of traditional and social institutions that keep the nation together.
