So I naturally resist the order to bunker down.

This drives my wife batshit.

She is convinced I would risk the safety of my family for my own personal bugaboos.

This kind of thing could kill our trust in one another...

So that is the real enemy here.

Without each other our family blows up... and that's the real mine in this field right now.

For the time being I'm following orders... but for how long until my claustrophobia gets the best of me...

Or my 17 year old son... who is trapped in here with his parents on the verge of mental breakdowns...

My daughter will be fine... she likes bunkering down.

At this point its martial law, so there's no point in rebelling, this is what it's like in the army

In fairness, Mrs Smitty is one in a million, she can be bitchy to other people, but with me, all she does is go out of her way to do nice things for me and make sure I am taken care of, even when I don't deserve it, she's easy to love
