I think it would’ve been a landslide. Hillary was simply more repulsive than Trump - which was a feat in itself.

Bernie would have undercut a lot of the reasons that Trump used to flip those rust belt states.

It wouldn't work now, though, because people are working and their economic security is improving. No sense voting for an unknown when the guy you have is at least doing something for you, when that has not been the case for about fifty years.

If Trump next went after the modern forms of legal slavery, like child support and alimony, I think he would drum up even more forgotten voters, honestly.

I'm not so sure Bernie would have destroyed Trump though. I don't think Bernie is a particularly strong debater above or below the belt, and we all know that Trump is a strong debator below the belt.

But he is much much much more likeable that Donald Trump, and without Hillary's toxic personality turning off half of the country, Bernie would have been in a better position to attract voters.

Trump/Sanders is the election the US deserved, I'll never forgive the DNC for taking that important choice away from the American voter
