Anyone care to summarize for those of us working?

Not sure what Nuke is on about. It went fine. He did the usual bloviating... then his lawyer took the mic to explain how he's removed himself from all his business dealings, all boards of directors, etc.

Then he took some questions from the press. Mexico will reimburse us for the wall, he's hired the best people for his cabinet. They are going to rock it. Obamacare sucks and will be gone within a few weeks...

He shouted down a reporter who wanted to ask a question... "you're a fake news site, I won't take your question." That was the highlight. The press is in for a good time.

Holy shit that press conference was a circus. I caught the end of it I have to watch it later tonight. What a joke.

It was like every other PEOTUS presser there has ever been. Mostly stuff about the Rooskies and Golden Showers.

Probably the most golden shower questions since the PEOTUS presser in mid-January, 1961.

I missed the start but from what I watched:

Details about how he wants to handle conflicts of interest. I liked that he brought up how the president and VP have immunity anyway, he should have mentioned that Obama didn't have a blind trust either.

Russia, China, everybody has probably hacked us. Trump wants to focus on internet defense.

The crowd was rowdy and Trump got mad at a reporter and refused to take questions from his horrible outlet. He didn't name them though.

Trump said that he wondered if his own team had a mole that was leaking information such as Trump's confidential meetings. He says he scheduled a secret meeting with the intellegence community and didn't even tell his closest assistant. After the meeting it was immediately in the media so he thinks the intellegence agencies are shameful.

At the very end he said he hopes he can come back to his company after 8 years and tell his sons that they did a great job... but if they didn't "You're Fired!"

There are solutions to Trump. They involve reasoned strategizing and patient focus on issues people actually care about. Whatever those solutions are, venerating the intelligence community, begging for its intervention, and equating their dark and dirty assertions as Truth are most certainly not among them. Doing that cannot possibly achieve any good, and is already doing much harm.
