Roads are easy to make without the requirement of government... cars, well you practically need a professional education to be able to repair one in your garage today.Fife wrote:

Re: Get Rid of Capitalism?
Some interesting and fair UBI and basic econ discussion:
Taxes, Subsidies and “Basic Income”
One of the proposals that has come up again recently is the concept of a “Universal Basic Income”. In fact the Finns have been trialing the system, with some limited success. For those who don’t know what this is; the basic idea is that rather than pay various welfare credits and benefits, governments should pay everyone a fixed amount per week. There’s a lot to like about this idea in theory, but it also has a lot of obvious potential negatives if it is not implemented correctly and, since implementing it correctly would impact so many special interests, it is almost certain that it would not be done right and therefore would fail horribly.

Socialism will keep them well stocked with cans of dehydrated water to make up for the failing infrastructure. Water is essential, after all.The Conservative wrote:Let's show them what real socalisim is... I remember the horry storries of the USSR... I'm sure they won't mind being policed.Nukedog wrote:

Venezuela is leading the way to the new socialist paradise! They should move there, and enjoy the benefits of socialism.

Customer reveiw
Where has this been all of my life? Here are a few of the ways dehydrated water vastly improves upon hydrated water:
- Spills are much easier to clean up.
- MUCH lighter. I could only get my camel to carry about 200 bottles of Dasani without complaining, but she can carry ~ 472 cans of FEODW like a champ (OK, she did sigh heavily and give that "are you effing kidding me" look, but still...)
- That thing where you're drinking (hydrated) water and instead of swallowing, you inhale it into your lungs? Not a problem with dehydrated water (SERIOUSLY--try it.)
- Great for stronger cocktails.
- Can be used to baptize aquaphobics.
- Safe to use while doing electrical work.
- Instant, automatic refill after depletion.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
