Why do you hate strong men so much?

HRC would have made a hell of a strongman, but she's just not my type.

I don't think Trump is the threat we have to worry about. It's whoever rises out out of the ashes when Trump cashes out of the game.

More Trumps, I hope.

Not because I like the orange asshole (I don’t), but because the effect of having a political outsider president in DC has only improved the health of our lazy, complacent, insular, self-serving government.

I don’t care if it’s The Rock, Oprah, or Pee-Wee Herman running next time, as long as it’s not a career politician I’m already inclined to vote for them.

Isn't that along the lines of "We had to destroy the village in order to save it"?

Only if you consider allowing one non-politician to hold office in DC to be "destroying the village".

I'd question the cognitive abilities of anyone who seriously made that claim, though.

Given the near-unlimited power of the Executive though.. it's not as stupid as it sounds anymore.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Near unlimited?!

Have you paid attention to how many times Barry O and Trump got stopped from doing what they wanted?

Everything you two say is exactly as stupid as it sounds.
Hate to break it to you.

It's not 'one non-politician.' IMO Trump was a gamble worth taking. A succession of incompetents would be a different story.

How is a government dominated by inside players who cut the same deals with the same special interests year in and year out *not* a “succession of incompetents”?

How many trillions in the hole does the US have to go before you start questioning your devotion to career politicians?

I'm getting used to his brand of crazy, and it seems likely he'll be a net positive, but I'm not convinced that this level of crazy chaos is sustainable. I would definitely cheer more outsiders, but I'd appreciate it if they at least appear to be sane.
Account abandoned.
