By your own definitions I’m in Gen X by 2 years. First computer was monochrome without a hard drive. Suck me.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 11:27 amit's funny that you think you can fool people into thinking you're not a Millennial

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
who would even want to be Generation X ?
it's not like we chose this fate
it's the Boomers who named us Generation X, as a pejorative
the Boomers blamed Generation X
the Millennials blame the Boomers
the Millennials & the Boomers are the same, Millennials are Echo Boomers
Generation X is invisible, we don't even exist for demographic purposes

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
When they first started naming generations, Boomer only went to 1956. How could someone be a Boomer without experiencing the ‘60s? I think Millennials are defined by the Internet. As they say, Gen X was broken homes & latchkey kids.

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
thing about being Gen X
we don't need to blame anybody
because we had free rein
unlike Boomers & Echo Boomers
nobody was supervising us, nobody was running our lives
so we don't have anybody to blame but ourselves
but since we are invisible, we don't exist, there would be no point
so we just carry on doing our own thing, same as it ever was

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
I thought life was going to be like the ‘60s, and was disappointed it turned out so mundane BUT the ‘60s are back, baby.
