The Wicked witch of the North was your lover until Dorothy turned up.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I'm actually a sensitive artist type raised by hippies

If it wasn't for Maggie Thatcher I'd prolly be a Bernie Bro now
Thank God for Margaret Thatcher, because Bernie Bro Smitty would have been a tragedy.

My Da had Maggie Thatcher Derangement Syndrome

So he used to rail against her,

at that age you are becoming more defiant of your Da, so I became her Devil's Advocate

Then Argentina invaded the Falklands and my Da flipped to Thatcher for the duration of hostilities

He started railing against the lefties for not getting behind the war effort

Even I was a Thatcher supporter during hostilities. It was just everything else she did except smashing the unions that I didn't like.
Maggie wouldn't be giving handouts like nice cuddly Boris.
She'd be telling us to get on our bicycles and find work.

Under wartime conditions I think she might exploit the opportunity to do porkbarreling

Big spending on the military, she would launch a biological warfare defense military build up

She would not be screwing around in this situation,

she would probably suspect that it was some kind of Chinese weapon containment breach

I like Sweden's answer - just buy more refrigeration for the bodies.
I might just be because in here Stockholm where it's really taking of most of the dead are from the immigrant/refugee community. What you foreigners like to call the no-go zones. More than half of the dead are Somali. You don't reach those communities with any info. They don't speak Swedish and a lot of them are illiterate. Now they are trying to rally the local gangster rappers to spread info about the virus.

The problem in Canada is that people here think this is going to be over in two weeks

I don't see how it can be, they can lift the lock down, but then infections will run amok

So I'm expecting to be locked down in some form for months

Mind you, I'm locking myself down to maximum reclusivity anyways just to try to duck the bug

People prancing around out there in a fog of this stuff are walking in a minefield

It's not going to kill everybody, but people will step on the mines

If/when this shit peaks into something like in Europe, the problem then will be getting people to come to work

Locking people down won't be much of a problem, when they have the body bags piling up

People will refuse to work, it doesn't have to be Spanish Flu to scare them back into their holes

Mrs Smitty is scared right now, if she's scared, then that's the middle classes scared, millions of them

Nobody who is not a kid is taking any risks around this stuff, the fear is in the ranks

People on the internet shoot their mouths off about how they don't care, but that's not the majority

People are walking around here now with masks & gloves on when they shop

Mrs Smitty doesn't care what Capps says, she's got the gloves, the mask, the whole shebang, she's spooked by it

But whatever, I didn't marry a commando, that's my job, and actually commandos would wear the masks too

Not a lot of people care what Capps says, I don't let it bother me. If people cared what I said, then Smitty might be getting less nookie, and we can't have that.

Maximizing Smitty's nookie is ESSENTIAL.
