Me, I just play the pump n' dump scam with the rest of the scammers, ride the rocket up, when the Dow Jones hits an all time high, start to wrap up your positions and go short, because the correction is inevitable.

Had nothing to do with a financial crisis, 1982 was the inflation trap, interest rates were jacked up to contain inflation, caused a recession, same as in the USA.

The American solution, under Reagan, was to juice the equity markets, which, was good for awhile, until the Savings and Loan bust in 1987, then the US went back into recession, they just keep doing this in America, over and over, each time resulting in a financial crisis, each time the rubes take it on the chin, each time the donor class gets bailed out, and the debt continues to skyrocket.
