China is already is a financial slump, and is quickly getting worse with each passing month. Sooner or later (depending on how their currency holds up) it will not be a matter of if, but when will China do something.

Well, personally, I don't have any delusions about not being in the kill zone here, sure as I was on the trace in the Cold War, if the CONUS eats the Redwings, that's me done for too, now, I don't have any control over it, but for the purposes of discussion, I'm just blue skying about what I would do if I did. /shrugs

I am trying to be nice right now, but I am using slump in a way that isn't meant to be used. Their version of a slump is 400 Million retiring people with a federal pension that can't be covered and a rental property bust that has destroyed the property value of the country by over inflation to an extreme that buying US property is cheaper.

Then there are the trillions they have in debt that they don't have anyway to pay off soon, so yeah... they are in a "slump" which we would call world ending debt if this was the US.

Again, you're not seeing the whole picture. If China goes toe to toe with the US in a conventional war then Financial Armageddon is set loose. They won't risk it. Their current financial woes can and will be managed. Let me ask you this.......Do you really think that a country that massively sensors it's citizens in almost every aspect of life can't or won't give their people a big FU by defaulting on their "federal pensions" if they find it necessary?
